End of the Year Reminders & Updates

As the year comes to a close, we know this is a busy time filled with deadlines, celebrations, and well-earned moments of rest. To help everyone finish the year strong and transition smoothly into the new one, we’ve outlined a few important reminders and notices below that we will be communicating about in January. Please take a moment to review the information, note any key dates, and reach out if you have questions.

Holiday Office Schedule & Upcoming Events

Closing December 31st @ 3pm  | Closed January 1st  | Regular Friday Hours 9a-4pm on January 2nd

January 7th @ 10am – In Person Agent Mastery & Breakfast
All Agents Invited! Whether you are a new agent or have been here a while – get a refresher on all of the agent tools and resources available to you, meet fellow agents, and enjoy a hot breakfast!

January 13th 10am – Broker Insights w/Shelby Austin on Zoom! 

1099 Reminder

You should have received an email from no-reply@track1099.com (see below) which walks you through the quick and simple steps of completing your W9 and opting into digital delivery of your 1099.  The entire process takes less than two minutes and follows the W9 form you are used to seeing. You may elect to opt out of electronic delivery, and your 1099 will be sent via traditional USPS, but the W9 still needs to be completed | Please reach out to accounting@movewithplatinum.com if you have any questions or issues.

Paperless Pipeline Locations

Your location in Paperless Pipeline has been changed to reflect the State(s) you are licensed in. Previously the location was set by market. There are notes on your available locations that note to use the market specific location through the 31st, and begin using the State location beginning January 1.

After January 1st : 

  • For Listings – please assign the location based on the state the address is in.
  • If you are licensed in more than one state and working with a buyer that could purchase in either state – choose one and the Transaction team will update as needed when it goes under contract.
  • If you are only licensed in one state, you will not have to make a choice for location when entering a transaction after the market locations are deactivated early in January.

Office Policy & ICA

Updates will be coming to the Platinum Realty ICA and Office Policy in January – please be on the lookout for emails regarding the changes and be ready to sign new documents. 

Administrative Changes

We will be retiring all @movewithplatinum.com forwarders by the end of 2026 due to heightened security from email providers making it less useful for business. More information to come on this topic, but if this email is something you use for marketing purposes please start considering where it is used and updating those items to your gmail, yahoo, etc.

David Knox / PRO Academy Training will be phased out at the end of January 2026 – the Learning academy is always available in your Bullseye Dashboard for continued training and learning opportunities.

Annual Dues

Ensure you have paid or have a plan to pay your annual dues by their due date – many boards require us to inactivate agents who are not paid up for annual dues and we obviously do not want to do that! Please let us know if you have questions about this.

E-Signature Requests – requests for signature should be set up in an Esign program like FormsRus/Dotloop/DocuSign for Michelle Briggs Austin to sign and sent to esign@movewithplatinum.com
